How we Grade

Grading Descriptions:

Mint (M): A flawless, factory-sealed record that has never been played, with no imperfections or audio issues. Mint records are extremely rare and highly valuable.

Near Mint (NM) is the highest grade for a used, nonfactory sealed record. These records are shiny and free from visible defects. A near-mint jacket is very close to mint, with very minor defects.

Very Good Plus (VG+): This is a well-maintained record with minor cosmetic flaws that don't impact playback. The jacket may have minor wear, including rubbing, pigment loss, or minimal blemishes.

Very Good (VG): A record with noticeable surface marks or scratches that may cause some background noise but still plays well. The cover may show signs of wear, such as creases, ring wear, or seam splits.

Good Plus (G+) or Good (G): Records with clear signs of use and damage, such as heavy wear and noise, which may affect the listening experience. Some records in these grades may even skip.

Fair (F) or Poor (P): Records in these conditions have significant wear and may be unplayable, though they may still be valuable for their rarity or collectible appeal.

**Vireo Vinyl grading is susceptible to our opinion based on grading standards and the equipment used to evaluate the media. All pre-owned records are ultrasonic cleaned before grading and shipping.Â
